| Loading and transferring the hot metal, the FTC is a kind of device functioning as transfer ladle and mixer. It is characterized by slow decrease of temperature, usually with speed of 10 centigrade/h, and performing as the container for hot metal pretreatment providing ideal hot metal for clean steel making. According to the working condition, the inner lining material should features good resistance to slag corrosion, especially due to desiliconization desulfurization and dephosphorization(hereinafter refers to 3-de),thermal shock stability, high mechanical strength,resistance to erosion and abrasion (especially on at impacting area). In the early 1990s,under the supervision of Prof. Lin Binyin from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, our factory developed the unburnt AL2O3-SiC-C bricks,burned AL2O3-C bricks and matching monolithic refractories for the torpedo with or without 3-de.With all the requisite advantages above,our products are available for FTC of various volumes. Having beenused in the FTC of 320 MT at Shanghai Bao steel, Wuhan I&S Co., and Ma-anshan I&S Co., of 260 MT at Shoudu I&S Co., and Tianjin I&S Co.,our products proved to be effectibe and reliable. |
